Want the experience of shooting a 50 BMG? No problem. You will be able to shoot a 50 BMG on stage 1. "Shot heard around the world"
Classes:
Patriot Open: Open to any Cold War-era firearm, with modifications and optics allowed. Patriot Limited: Focused on minimal modifications and iron sights for Cold War firearms. ComBloc Open: Modifications and optics are welcome for Eastern-origin Cold War firearms.
ComBloc Limited: Eastern Cold War firearms in their original configurations, using iron sights only.
Weapons:
Participants are encouraged to use their favorite Cold War-era rifles and carbines. Popular options include: M16/AR15, AK-47, AK-74, M14, SKS, FAL, AUG, G3, M1 Garands (in .308 caliber only)
Ammunition Restrictions:
No Green tip, Blacktip, or steel core ammo. Protect the steel targets and treat them with respect.
Dress Code:
Era-appropriate clothing or dress is highly encouraged. Immerse yourself in the Cold War ambiance by donning attire that reflects the period.
Format:
5 dynamic shooting stages, challenging participants in speed and accuracy.
Multiple class participation is allowed, with separate fees for each.
Community-driven setup and tear-down of stages. "Time plus" scoring for an exciting competitive edge.
Participation: Open to all, from beginners to experienced shooters. It is a great opportunity to engage with Cold War-era firearms and fellow enthusiasts. Safety and Regulations: Strict adherence to all firearm laws. Mandatory safety gear, including eye and ear protection. Range officers will oversee the match for safety and fairness.
